Dec 20, 2012 · In my experience after putting aftermarket reeds on, like the dual layer cf/acrylic it seemed to make my 250R run rich. If you have the airbox lid off and aftermarket exhaust I'd start off with the air screw 1.5 turns out, 30 pilot, needle on 3rd clip and a 250 main jet. Not sure what kind of carb you are running or what elevation you are at.

So I never wrote down my jetting for the 2007 YZ250 I think it was pretty much stock settings 178 main, 50 piolt clip in the middle? maybe the clip was second from the top. Any recomendations. V force 3 and a DEP pipe are the only add ons, stock porting and head.

The second thing is the reeds. It seems hit and miss but I am would strongly recommend the V force 4. Chances are your factory reeds have gaps in them (like my last two KTM 2 strokes did). Just change to a VF4 and be done with it. Enjoy the 150! I love my 150 and its probably one of the most fun mx bikes made in my opinion.
